WaterCop (fortrezz) Water Valve

Hello,

I have a water cop 3/4" water valve that Vera Edge says is open and is actually closed. I can use Vera to close it and the valve is actually open. Tried switching to Water Level mode from Water Alarm mode and I still get the same thing. Called the Water Cop people and they said this is an issue with Vera. Anyone know the solution? Thanks!

Hi swobig

I have been using the Fortrezz WV-01 for about 3 months on a Vera 3 on UI5. I have not had any problems with it. Are you using the following settings:

device type: urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:Relay:1

device file: D_Relay1.xml

device options:

Variable 0 : 1 byte hex FF

Variable 1 : 2 bytes hex 0

Hi Don
I set up my Fortrez tonight - it shows up as an appliace module. Do I need to change the settings to relay? Also, once I close from either Vera web interface or from iOS app, it says node busy - and does not let me reopen - is this part of the 60 minute timeout?

Yes, if you want full functionality you need to ontigure it as a relay.

Anyway we can chat offline…? I got it set up as relay - it just seems to change the on/off to open/close. I still won’t open via vera once it is closed - is that due to the 60 minute lockout? Is there anyway to change the duration of the lockout? Are you able to open your valve in alarm mode via vera?
Finally, if I have several water sensors, I need to now include - but how do you set those up as an association?
