Hi,
Has anyone used one of these or any Vivotek IP cameras? I’m having problems adding one. This is actually a 4 port analog camera server that works great. I have it integrated well with another automation system. I’ve tried every combination that I can think of in setting it up. It is on the same network as my vera 2. I’ve attached the pages in the docs that describe how to get the correct url. Could someone help me with exactly which settings I use and where in the generic ip camera setup?
Not sure which camera plugin you are using. Are you using the Generic camera plugin? Have you tried using the following in the url field?
/cgi-bin/video1.jpg
Also making sure that the ip field has the correct ip address.

I’m using the generic ip camera plug-in. Thanks for your suggestion. I finally got it working. It took a little while until it seemed to update the setting and start working.
So, is the only way to view the camera to click on the little wrench(to me that would just be to change settings)? I’m new to Vera but that seems a little strange to me. I thought a thumbnail would update or something.

For UI4, you will have to click on the wrench. Not the greatest way of seeing the camera image. If you have an iphone or android phone, most of the 3rd party apps will let you see the camera image easily. However, UI5 will have a thumbnail view of the camera image. Cool, thanks. Is there an ETA for UI5? I need to try out some of the apps. Haven’t gotten that far yet.
