VistaCam PT only recognized as SD (Resolved)

Hello,

My friend got a VistaCam PT as labeled on the device. However, Vera only installs and detects it as SD. Anyone know why? I have emailed support on this as well. He gave it to me as he got fed up with it. It does work just no PT functions and one odd thing is I can’t turn off the indicator light, can only make it steady instead of blinking. So I’m wondering if somehow the firmware loaded was wrong.

Any guesses? Perhaps anyone with a VistaCam SD can tell me if they have this firmware.

Here’s the firmware version information:
Device Firmware 17.1.2.22
Web UI 30.10.2.33

On my working VistaCam PT I have this for firmware:
Device Firmware 17.1.1.24
Web UI 30.10.1.50

It was the firmware. Too bad for my friend who I got it from…LOL…although I did offer to give it back. Vera support took care of it.

Not sure if this is universal for the PT’s but they need to be
