Visonic / RFXtrx433 / Vera

Should my 433MHz Visonic alarm system be automatically picked up my Vera Lite via my RFXtrx433?
I have the Visonic and AC options enabled. All others disabled.
Or do I need the RS232 kit and the Plugin?

Many thanks in advance.

with Visonic enabled you will receive 433.92MHz PowerCode sensors.

You can check this with the RFXmngr program on a Windows system

Although RFXmngr receives and registers/logs all my PowerCode 433Mhz Visonic devices:-
wireless keyfob (MCT-234), transmitter (MCT-100) and 8-way receiver (MCR-308).
It’s only the MCT-100 that shows up in Mios (as a motion detector).
Is this correct?

Thanks

Many thanks for the email response Bert.
So basically, at present, the PowerCode 433Mhz Visonic keyfob MCT-234 isn’t recognised by Vera so it will need to be added to the Plug-in.
I will try and contact lololdomo to make a request.

My goal is to be able to mimic the keyfob buttons in the Vera UI in order to control the Visonic 8-way 433Mhz receiver (MCR-308) & associated Relay Output board (RL-8). I guess the alternative would be to add a Visonic ‘add switch’ facility in the ‘device creation’ tab in the RFXtrx Controller device panel.

I like to revive this topic as I have a similar issue now, when experimenting with a proto RFXtrx868, my Visonic system operates on 868 MHz.

Sofar I am able to see all door, motion and smoke sensors (all Powercode devices) as devices on my Vera Edge.

But Visonic remote control devices like a keyfob MCT-324 or a control panel MCM-140 (Codesecure devices) are not shown.
However when I connect the RFXtrx868 directly to a pc and run the RFXmngr software, these remote control devices are reporting nicely.

Are Visonic Codesecure devices not included in the Vera plugin,
if not, is it maybe planned to be included in the future ?
