I think Domo basically said it, I wish Vera/Ui5 had a way to add scene triggers inside the device or something similar versus having to edit the scene.
Even managing triggers separate from both might be better. But as is it still makes sense as is from a database/model perspective.
I’ve been using your plugin for a while now and i really like it, so much so, (as you saw), i even shared it with the forum earlier - (hope that was OK) so it’s great to see it now in the App Store.
I currently use your alarm clock (sorry Virtual Clock) to turn the heating up in the conservatory at 6am on a mon, fri, sat and Sunday which is great functionality. And you might recall, we’ve already exchanged some feedback via your site back in July
Some thoughts on the current version and also a possible variation you could have in a future separate release.

The message functionality has the options to use the Sonos and/or Squeezebox TTS
Make the time selection a little easier , offer just hours and minutes selection

A Multiple Alarm Scene Scheduler, allows you to set multiple alarms from within one device, with an icon that shows you which have gone off. (E.g like a 7 day heating and hot water timer)
I did notice your iPad app, I liked it a lot, I was going to drop you a comment on your site, but have not had the time recently. (I’ve been trying to write my first plugin, Proximity Sensor but as i am a novice, I’ve got very badly stuck )
Regarding your iPad app, I would love to install/test it when you’re happy to release it, are you going to run a post under Remote Control for it?
The floorplan software is a web site : http://floorplanner.com.
The work is in progress for the interface on iPad but it will be in french (at least initially)…
Thank you for the great work. Your plugin (along with Combo Switch) makes things EASIER for those of use wanting to trigger Scenes based on Day/Time and device status’. It gets much closer to providing what MCV should have provided with the first Vera device. I have no problem creating a Room called ‘Triggers’ and using that to store my devices which act as triggers… just like I do with Combo Switches.
I have one feature request… can you add a ‘trigger scene ID’ for to happen after the ‘Duration’ ends?
Basically this would provide a separate Alarm On and Alarm Off (after Duration has completed) trigger.
this allows us to use one Virtual Clock timer to turn on/off a scene.
btw… if you could combine your Virtual Clock plugin with the Combo Switch… oh man that would be awesome (!!!) and save us a ton of work and a mess of extra devices.
Hello,
It is possible to use the virtual clock as a trigger in a scene when it becomes tripped or not tripped. I use it to turn on and off the lights in my aquarium. In the device parameters, you can associate the ID of a scene which is run when it’s tripped. This feature has been criticized, to see if I should also do that to the off…

Just checking if you planning any updates soon? your plugin has many uses with a few more features added!
Hello,
Yes I am always there. It is just that I spent a lot of time to develop an interface for the Vera (MyVera, have a look here http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,13133.15.html)
I noticed 2 things that I thought you may like to know:
I had to use Firefox for set times etc. IE was troublesome and sometimes worked and sometimes did not so some issue with passing the request I guess?
I can ever delete just one virtual clock? deleting 1 automatically then deletes them all and uninstalls the plugin? can this be changed any way? as I have several clocks as others do but if I ever wanted to delete on I would have to delete them all and recreate the ones I want.
I dont think it doesca stop? Maybe just have a second alarm as the off or a pleg timer for an off command after a set time from when the alarm is triggered?
am i doing something wrong or is the plugin not capable of stopping the scene
You need to create a second scene to turn-off your lights and add a trigger for the VirtualClock not tripped. This is not specific to VClock - it is how Vera scenes work.
the first post mentions extra variables but they are not listed
where can i get them
What extra variables do you want?
also is it not possible to call devices instead of scenes?
You can use scenes or another plugin (such-as PLEG) to control any or all devices in response to the status of VClock.
