I can see controllers listed under Devices → All - but it doesn’t tell me if they are secondary. Also how do you check that VeraLite is still primary ?
If you were able to include the other controllers with Vera, then that implies Vera is the primary and the others are secondaries. (Assuming you didn’t change the Z-Wave firmware on Vera and did a regular include.)
You can see Vera’s role under [tt]Setup[/tt] > [tt]Z-Wave Settings[/tt]
I did not change the Z-wave firmware on Vera, I was able to add my Aeon Labs minimote as a secondary fine and that worked. I cannot seem to add the Aeon Labs Z-stick as a secondary properly? Not sure its displayed as RED in VeraLite and says: Unable to get any information on node
I am seriously thinking about making VeraLite Secondary and the Z-stick primary…
How I tried to add the Z-stick was in HomeSeer (Z-stick) I went to set-up\interfaces\manage\Replicate Receive
And in VeraLite I went to add device - advanced Z-wave devices
For battery operated handheld remotes and scene controllers you have 2 options:
Recommended: Add the device to remote Vera’s network, letting Vera be the primary controller
I think trying to add the Z-stick as a secondary has broken the minimote, the minimote buttons no longer operate correctly.
I tried to delete the device in VeraLite for the Z-stick but I can’t delete it!
EDIT: I had to restore VeraLite from a backup that got rid of the red device _scenecontroller (Z-stick) the minimote still wasnt working however I had to delete it and re-add it and set the scene buttons up again. Now the minimote is working and the z-stick gone.
