Vera's IR Guided Setup list

When you add an IR device and choose Guided Setup there is a long list of manufactures, then device types that Vera knows about – it’s getting a list of codes from a database someplace.

Anybody know how that is built or more importantly, how I can get codes for my devices I need added?

I’d like to control an Xbox 360, Xbox One, Optoma HD25 Projector and a Favi HD120 screen.

The options for Xbox 360 do not work; when I choose Favi I get an error and the two code options for Optoma don’t control my projector.

Using the Guided setup, I have successfully configured my Yamaha Receiver (which I prefer to control via IP anyway) and a Vizio TV (and choosing Microsoft/DVD, I can turn my Xbox on but do nothing more). So I know the Global Cach Itach using the GC100 plugin is working well.

Using instructions form a-lurker in another thread I got my Optoma HD25 to work (I only needed Power On and Power off).

After finding this post https://globalcache.zendesk.com/entries/25043417-iLearn-issues- at GlobalCache I downloaded the older ver 2.4 of ILearn (2.5 is what is out now) and successfully learned the codes for my Favi screen.

This was really good.

You should add this to the wiki somehow (I don’t know how, but this info would have helped me a lot last week when I was doing the same things!).
