VeraPlus and "My Modes" configuration

Good day,
I’m a novice to Vera, (received the unit yesterday).
I had foscam cameras for years now and as some of you might know, all of the configs are url based.
So let say you want to activate the motion alarm, there will be an url for that…

Now in the Vera interface, I see that there is “my Modes” in the dash board that can be configured.
I was wondering if by triggering the “away” mode it would be possible send a url to my foscam camera to initiate the motion detection system…

I tried to ad my cameras and I’m still playing with that for now. (I have 2 C2, and a bunch of FI9821…)

Also, I dont understand the difference between “My modes” and the scenes…

Sorry to dig up a dead thread, but I’m looking at picking up a Foscam C2. Did it easily integrate with Vera? Did you solve your motion sensor question?

I use BlueIris to manage the cameras (it seems to support all IP cameras in existence). BlueIris also does motion detection, and when it sees something, it triggers a virtual switch in Vera via an HTTP call. Once triggered, the Vera can do whatever you want it to, depending on its state (house modes, values of sensors, states of other switches, etc). BlueIris does require a windows machine running all the time.
