The app was updated recently to Veramate 8 and now I am unable to open the app, I just see the Veramate splash screen and then it quits back to the iOS.
I am running this on my iPod Touch 4th gen which is version 6.1.6
I’ve tried turning on “Reset on next start” in the Veramate options but makes no difference.
So does this mean I can no longer use the Veramate app I purchased on my iPod Touch?
Unfortunately this wasn’t realised until afterwards. Apple doesn’t make it easy to support older versions, but I am trying to rectify this asap. I’m hoping to get something to Apple shortly (I’m still in the processing of resetting the development environment).
I should say for any users on iOS6, I’m willing to provide a temporary BETA test for those affected - send your email to veramate support, and I’ll get a pre-release to you. (I’ll make more details available on the iOS6 thread when available).
