Hi all, i just received my Vera Lite and am having a couple of issues, id prefer to get to the bottom of them than look for workarounds and hence my post below.
Im having an issue with connection to my VeraLite from my android mobile phone.
under ‘Devices-> Mobile Phones’ the instructions are to browse to [url=http://micasaverde.com/phone]http://micasaverde.com/phone[/url] on the phone, i have done this. I see my unit and the fact that im connected over a cell network but as soon as the screen loads i get the following message under the top menu “We lost the connection with the unit” and under the unit name and ID i get “Connection failed!”
I’ve had the same issue. Connected fine via home wifi network, but when tried to just connect over Cell network (Verizon), I received the same message “connection failed” for connecting to my veralite firmware 1.5.622 via Samsung Galaxy 3 android 4.1.2. How do I get the connection to work?
Similar issue, but mine is with Vera Mobile App for iOS. Controller will show up on my home screen, but the green arrows appear with a red dot in he middle and it will not connect up.
Others having connectivity issues via the mobile app and is there a solution? Thanks.
Does anyone ever reply to these things with real answer? Everything I look at has a bunch of (the same) questions (that I have) but there are never any answers/replies. Further, it’s annoying as hell that I have to go through the 4 step process to prove that I’m not a machine: Type the letters in the image, what’s heavier, gold or silver, a multiplication question and which of the following is a bird?
