Hi, once in a while my router goes crazy and looses internet connection… if I turn off/on it starts working again. Is it possible for vera to send a ‘reboot’ to an appliance zwave module if it doesn’t detect an internet connection?

You could write a few lines of Lua code to do this, or you could just use the Ping Sensor plugin.
Ping your router’s gateway. After a certain amount of failed pings, run a scene to power cycle the router.
