VeraLite -- How to include Schlage BE469NXCAM619

Hi all.

This is my first posting in this forum.

How do I include my previously installed Schlage BE469NXCAM619 lock now that I’ve just installed my VeraLite.

  1. My VeraLite is registered and I did the latest firmware upgrade, but I don’t see that lock on the list of wizards for adding a device.

  2. The lock was already on the door before I got the VL. It’s about 20 feet away from the VL. I have fresh batteries in the VL. I understand I can bring the VL next to the lock without being connected to my router, but I don’t know the procedure or the buttons to push on top of the VL.

Can someone help me?

Manage to move the router and the VeraLite close enough to include the Schlage lock. As there was no specific wizard for the be469, I added it as a generic Z Wave device, and the lock apparently identified itself as a lock and presented all its applicable triggers when I created the scenes with their various and separately named alert messages.
