Now you can script something on your vera instead

Sorry man, I think I’ve learned enough lessons with Vera upgrades. I’ll just wait on it.

Ok. Someone pushed magic button probably because it suddenly started working

I bit the bullet and remotely did the upgrade. Seems fine to me so far. Will have to go home before checking if anything changed…

Change log is up.

Nice long list of changes. Looks like one of them may be addressing my Monoprice window break sensor. Too late tonight for me to try and run the update. Especially if something goes awry. I’ll give it a try tomorrow night…

Well I took the plunge and crossed the Atlantic in search of Integlikewhoa. He’s probably running down the eastern seaboard of the new world by now looking for the fountain of youth. The update took although it never notified me that it was done. I simply rebooted Vera after 2 hours and the fw version changed. I have several things that are on the change log that I was hoping for so I’ll let everyone know my findings.

Lucky you… I haven’t spotted anything for me yet.

Trigger Luup event LUA code seems to be back !!!

I logged this one: (Customer issue) Cannot turn blinking led from Viscam PT

After the nightly heal, the cameras would start blinking the LED light. The tech had to create a scene to turn it off after the heal. So glad that’s in there.

Well found a problem with this firmware. My Monoprice motion sensor now stays forever tripped if it has been tripped. I have to manually untrip it through the advanced screen to turn it off. It then stays off until the next time somebody trips it and then the whole circus starts again. It is quite annoying. I have other motion sensors which are not doing that… Only this monoprice one. When it came back up it was also reporting power consumption for some reason and I had to exclude/include to eliminate the mess…

Please do call vera to get it logged. My issue posted above yours was listed in the change log as customer reported. So while I get it sucks to have it working then not working it’s the only good way to get it functional again in their firmware. I proved it worked doing this method for myself so again while annoying at least I got my concern fixed.

This upgrade was an utter disaster for me. How can I rollback?

Have you restored form backup?

And it might help to tell us what your problems are.
