VeraLite Controller not being found on getvera.com

I keep getting this error: “An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please try again later!”

Locally, i was able to setup the device, all the lights are on, etc. Is there any port forwarding that I may need to do for this process?

No port forwarding.

You didn’t mention which firmware version your Vera Lite is running. If it is running UI5(blue themed interface) then you need to setup the account at http://cp.mios.com
If it is running UI7(green themed interface) then you need to create the account at https://home.getvera.com

Finally, there is also the possibility that there may be a service issue. You should check the status page http://status.getvera.com and make sure that all the servers are up. There do not appear to have been any outages in the past couple of days.
