Veralite and Horstmann C-Stat 17-zw

Hi,

I have bought controller veralite and thermostat Horstmann C-Stat 17-zw. I have troubles to make it working together, especially to connect the thermostat with the controller. I can connect the asr-zw receiver with veralite, but the thermostat with veralite not (I succeeded once to see both there, but I don’t know how I got it there).

I do this through setup/setup z-wave/include node/receiver + through the controller or web, but including finishs all the time with a fail error.

I did not find any “z-wave official manual” for this thermostat (just for other version, but this one does not have DILs)

Does anybody have an idea how to connect it (I can connect asr-zw with the thermostat, so it works, just not veralite - thermostat)

I received a response from Horstmann that it is not designed to be integrated into any z-wave network and receive instructions…

I just stumbled on your thread while doing some research. I guess you already gave up with the C-Stat 17-zw?

Anyway if you search the forum you should find some people are using it with Vera just fine:

Hi people,

I am new in this and have a small question relating the HRT4-ZW. I live in a building, and in my apartment I have several radiators, and one analog thermostat that controls the on, and the setpoint of the temperature. I am not sure the system they use to control the heating on the building, but I wanted to know your opinion on if this product would work for me.

I know it is little information but it is all I have for know. I will try to get more information regarding my building infrastructure for heating system.
