I just upgraded my veraedge to the beta firmware and got a few error messages.

- Foscam camera:
Can’t Detect Device
Anyone experience the same problem???

Following along to see if I should even test out this update. I currently been holding off.
Had problems with the Aeon Minimotes. They functioned though. Two messages “Waiting for wakeup to configure device” hangs for quite a while followed by “Error: Unable to get any information on node”.
Second problem was with the Smart Switch Plugin. A cosmetic problem in the web UI.
I reverted back to 1.7.1598 on my edge.
Heard someone say z-combos didn’t work. Anyone else have any input on this beta?
I have one zcombo and had no issues for the short time I was on the beta.
This issue is easy to fix…
Make sure the minimote is awake, and reconfigure the device…
- go to the device settings/Advanced/Commands page.
- press and hold any button on the remote.
- click on “Configure node right now”
- release the button on the remote.
I already reverted my firmware back to 1.7.1598.

When I updated my Vera Edge to firmware version 1.7.1693 I then had the same issue with my minimotes and following these instructions got rid of the message about waiting for device to wakeup to configure.
