What is the easiest way to find and replace each instance of {BGColor:XXXX} with {BGColor:YYYY} in Message Overrides? For example, replace {BGColor:xFFEE89} with {BGColor:xFFF1A3}.

The Msg Overides are stored in Vera … but not in a way you can access them in bulk.
I will add this to my todo list. I am actually working on this today … and noticed it … but did not fix it yet.

This is posted on PLEG … So am I to assume you are calling Vera Alerts in an Action ?
If these are regular Notifications (Not in Actions) then the next Version of Vera Alerts will
help solve this problem.
If they are in actions … the bits are accessible currently through the: Actions
variable in the Advanced tab of the PLEG/PLTS device. Be careful with the syntax … this is not really meant for user editing.

I hope your update to add this also includes an import/export feature 
… It would be nice to backup the entire set to a text file, and be able to import later to another device - or export, edit in bulk, then import
It’s still on the list … I Did add a report!
I know, report is nice to review when building or making small mods… but when you want to backup (in case of disaster - like you accidentally deleted a device), or want create a similar PLEG but it would take 15-20 minutes to create it again vs 2 mins to mod a text file and import it.

Now VeraAlerts is quite complete. I’ve tried to use BGColor and FGColor that help the reading. But it happens that I write in Notation Configuration i.e. “{BGColor:blue}Pump OFF” and it works fine. But the day after there is written only “Pump OFF” and the string {BGColor:blue} is disappeared though the messages on the Android continue to be correctly coloured. Is there a reason? Where I’m wrong?

The parts of the message of form: {XXX:YYY} are not visible as part of the message on Vera Alerts Mobile.
If you want to see these message parameters … hold your finger down on a message and select Alert Properties
Thank you Richard, but my problem is that after I fill the message into “Message override” and I save everything, it is all right and running ok. But after some hours, maybe the day after, the msg disappear. You can see the attachments. I dont’ understand why it may happens. Can you help me? Thank you very much.
This could be caused by running out of memory so a luup restart reverts to previously saved user_data. See this.
I have reviewed the code … there are a couple of possible failure modes.

You use more than 1 browser window (which are left open) to change the message settings.
I currently cache some data when you click the wrench on a Vera Alerts Plugin the first time.
If you make changes here, Save, and leave the Browser window open.Go to Another Browser (not another tab in the same browser) and Edit some Msg Overrides.
Save.If you go back to the first browser and make some more message changes, if you do not refresh the browser window first, you will loose the changes made in the second browser.

If there is a problem saving the msg overrides, it might re-trigger the upgrade process on the next browser reload … and restore the messages from before the upgrade. But I do not currently see a problem that could trigger this scenario yet.
In fact, I 'm having lot of luup restart. I have spent several hours to understand why, and I have also disinstalled some plugins. But the problem persists. Though this is not the correct tread, I attach the part of log that preceeds the restart. I am not able to find out the problem.

I did look at your log. Are you running out of memory ?
Do you have a memory stick inserted to save log files to USB Stick ? ( Setup → Logs).
There are a lot of strange things in your logs from various plugins.
Do you have a Wifi Thermostat ?
Maybe you have network problems causing the network requests to backup on your unit.
Hi all, I deleted and readded the AEON Smart Switch because it generated lots of strange devicese… More I had some trouble on my network… More, I reinstalled VeraAlerts because I could not see its tabs for an error…
Now everything it is running OK.
Yesterday I had to reinstall the Vera Alerts Mobile because no text was displayed. Now it is all OK but Vera Alerts appears as not “registered” and when I push the “Register” I obtain the msg “Error registering with messaging server: AUTHENTICATION_FAILD”. I think I have set the correct parameters.
Any suggestion?
