hi all need your help in a set up. i currently got a vera 3 n btw im new to vera, connected with a rs232 to usb to a relay and to a somfy dry contact interface. my main objetive i to control the somfy rts blinds. im at the mios homepage but however i cant seem to get it working. im unsure of wha tis requier to set u. added the device but it disappears when i save the setting. im also facing the mios homepage to hang. i need your expertise guys in ths. i know it woks for other pp but just unsure what is the correct settings to be done on the mios homepage. feel free to drop any comments!!
You normally need a few things to get connected:
a) A supported USB-Serial adapter
b) A Relay control board (It’s not clear from the picture what you’re using here)
c) A Plugin to drive (b)
d) A Device created from this Plugin.
e) An association between the Device and the Serial Port… from the Apps >> Develop Apps >> Serial Port Configuration UI
It’s not clear from the picture you’ve posted as to which of the above “bits” you have, but they all follow this general pattern.

I am also interested in this SOMFY RTS DRY-CONTACT INTERFACE.
Instead of a rs232 to usb, I was planning to buy the somfy RTS Dry Contact, and a Z-Wave Dry contact device.
Or am I misunderstanding the somfy device?
Somfy Dry contact interface + dry contact z-wave-> a switch is discovered my Veralite, I can use it to open or close the blinds ?
If this is correct, then the question is : what dry contact should I get ?
I am interested in up and down. I am not really interested in the the ‘my’, which is a programmed position.
I would use the Vera to open or close the blind only.
Also, as I have an rxftrx433 connected to the Veralite, maybe I could use a rf dry contact instead of a z-wave ?
Any suggestion / help on this ?

I think is many solutions but this is confused and a lot of option and nothing really functional…And I have just buy a motorized zwave curtain…(complete system ready to install)…
