What can be plugged into the Vera3’s USB ports? I’m wanting to get a USB sim card modem to use for internet access and need to know if this is possible to use with Vera3.
Anyone know this?

No software for it on VERA. So vera can’t use it.
USB used for data loggin or a bunch of different usb to serial options. Most common probley an Alarm panel or even arduino.
I beg to differ(for UI7 that is).
So you have this working? What hardware?
Show us that working with a usb stick. As you know nothing works on Ui7. Lol
There is no support for it.
Not at home right now, but will get back to you on that one 
And tbh, a lot does work. But it’s just an RC, things are expected to be broken…
We should be seeing a 3G backup module by the end of the year as this has been in the works for a while. Pretty sure it will be compatible with the vera 3 and not just their new box. I’m still holding onto my UI5
According to tech support “Using our new software, user interface UI7 you should be able connect an USB modem in order for your unit to connect to the Internet.”
Should != Will
Until it’s tested and proven, don’t count on this to work.
I know that’s not always the case, just saying what I was told.
