Vera2 support for AXIS IP cams (M1011-W and AXIS M1031-W)

Hi,

Does anyone know if Axis IP-cams M1011-W and/or M1031-W can be used together with Vera?

I think there was something on Axis compatibility somewhere on the wiki page; but I can tell you that I have gotten pretty good results with the new Sony cameras.

I have an Axis M1011-W functional with Vera 2 (1.1.1047).

On the “Settings” tab, enter “/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi” for the Url.
I would suggest setting up a user with the name “dceadmin” and password “dcepass”.
I have entered the MAC address, but, I don’t think it has to be there.
Enter the IP address associated with the camera on your network.

That should be all you need to configure the camera with Vera!

markiper: The Sony cams seems very expensive

clfleener: Wow, thank you! The M1011-W is pretty cheap and looks good too. Will probably be my choice.

Can the Vera take advantage of the M1031-W’s extra features (PIR sensor, illumination LED, mic and speaker)? I really don’t care about the mic and speaker. But PIR and LED would be nice.
