I have the Vera Alerts plugin, and it says “Vera Startup” every time the LUA engine is restarted. For the past week or two, it’s been doing it every night around 1 or 2 AM.
The old logs have been rotated out, so I cannot see right now what did it. However, I’m planning on checking LuaUPnP.log tonight after it happens.
Anyone else have this problem? Any other suggestions?
Why is the system rebooting every night
If i look at the logs it start local at 02
And a few times a week it starts ‘at random’ times , but all without a , for me, logical reason

So could somebody indicate why this is happening?

Is your unit fully rebooting, or is it just the LUUP engine restarting? Mine is just the LUUP engine.
As i see it it’s rebooting
The normal log files are emptied, the luup programs are all restarting, (as i have on the programs written by me have a seperate log function)
I do not know what is the differance between rebooting or luup restarting

@garrettwp
have checked it ands have (today) 7 days and 22 hr uptime
so the vera it self is now running for 7 days and only the program reboots it self every night and or at different intervals.
but why
[quote=“huib, post:13, topic:174329”]@garrettwp
It is every night at local 02 hr and today at local 16hr
Three times in a row
The rest of the days at different times
Could it be that the plugin are automatically updates and automatically triggers a reboot?
Other wise i can not see any logical reason

Mine usually does it every night at 2am, but last night it did it around 11:30pm and again around midnight also.
