I have a Vera Secure and am also a Vera Protect customer. I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to arm a device, but not make it report to the central monitoring center when tripped. I have a break beam driveway sensor that I have hooked up to send me push notifications when someone starts to drive or walk up my driveway. This is at a cabin and I would like to be able to arm all other sensors to report to the central monitoring center when tripped except the driveway sensor because I do get false alarms caused by deer. I only want a push notification sent when the driveway sensor is tripped. This gives me the ability to pull up cameras and confirm what is happening instead of the police being dispatched for deer walking up the driveway. As of now I am not even sure this is an option which if not it should be. Any help would be awesome!
I know this is off topic mind telling me what break beam sensor you’re using? I can’t find any z wave ones
It’s an HTZSAFE. The receiver box has outputs which I wired into an Ecolink door sensors dry contact.

For Me things like your problem is the reason why i separate alarm (DSC Neo) and Vera …
My DSC alarm has nerver failed in 2 years. My vera has Done Done kind of delay or failure every day to be honest. If i were you and its very importent with an alarm at your cabin i would go with a separate alarm system…
Not your solution to your question but anyway…

I contacted Vera support asking them this same questions. Apparently they agree that it would be very useful to have a feature that makes this possible. I was told they passed the idea along to see if it can be implemented. I guess only time will tell.
