I just upgraded from the Vera Edge to the Vera Plus and im seeing some of the same behavior that ive seen with the edge. Sometimes my lights or devices just simply wont respond its like the unit is polling and trying but it just waits and then goes eventually. Does anyone else see this behavior?
Customer Care team should be able to asses your unit and even give you some advice, based on your setup.

Would the unit being near a wifi router cause an issue?
Z-wave devices will not be affected by the wifi. However any zigbee device might, as Zigbee is using 2.4 Ghz band
