Vera Logs set to save on USB - but still in /tmp/log/cmg?

I’m trying to diagnose a reboot issue, freeing up space on my Vera 3.

One thing I noticed is that despite the fact that I have logs set (setup - > logs) to save to USB, there’s still a large (9MN) file in /tmp/log/cmh/LuaUPnP.log

And checking the file’s date, it appears to be actively updating.

I’m not a Linux guy, so I realize that there can be symlinks and the like where files can be shown in the filesystem in a location different from their storage location… Is that the case here?

Or do I have a problem with connecting the USB stick?

If you turned on USB logging

/tmp/log/cmh is on the USB disk.

I am trying to diagnose random reboots.

I have logging set to USB, “archive old logs on MIOS” is unchecked.

Not seeing many old logs (should be a lot more than are there).

Seems like Vera crashes and reboots and the log gets overwritten before it can be archived off (renamed?)

Any ideas how to better handle this?

Really trying to resolve unexpected frequent reboots (multiple times a day).
