Vera locked after firmware upgarde

My vera has worked great for almost a year. It is located in our mountain house at 9,600 feet. It’s main function is to make sure our temperature stays above 52F. Last week, when checking the temp, I got the message that new firmware is available to load. I proceeded to download remotely. Someting apparently went wrong and I got some message to that effect. Unfortunately I do not recall the specific message. Now when I try to check with vera, I get a message “Vera busy”, repeated constantly.

Is ther a way to fix this remotely? If not what do I need to do to fix it locally?

what UI ? (2, 3, 4), any idea what firmware version you were running?

Sounds like a UI2 message.
Usually (not always) the Vera Busy message means it is working trying to load data, re-configuring devices or in your case just making the transition to the new FW. Usually this works itself out. How long have you been waiting? Have you hit CTRL F5? which is required after a FW update.

Hi Dieter,

If you see that message, you should be able to click the “Activate Remote Assistance” or “Request Tech Support” links. This way, you will send us the code via email or send a trouble ticket. I haven’t seen any in the system. Can you please try it?

Thanks!

When I try to get in, I still the the message “vera busy”. I am going up in the mountains tomorrow to try to fix it.

Any suggestion what to do?

Thanks for your help

Dieter

Try a power cycle first and see if that helps.
If no success, do as @mcvovidiu suggested. “Activate Remote Assistance” or “Request Tech Support”
Good luck.
