Well, the Vera lite is definitely an awkward shape. I wanted to wall mount it, but no standard options. I could have just put it on a shelf, but that wasn’t overly secure.
So, I made a nice wall bracket out of acrylic on a laser cutter. Turned out fairly nice, tho it was a little too small and needed the rubber feet removing.
If anyone wants the file to cut their own let me know and I’ll post it. Of course I’ll have to upload on without the logo on, as I don’t think the powers that be would like me distributing the file with that included.
Darren.
i have attached it to wall with 3 long screws on the sides… works too , but this looks way nicer
This was the best way I could come up with.
I think keyhole mounting holes on the back should’ve been included on the lite, would’ve made it a whole lot easier!
indeed that was exactly what i was missing when i wanted to attach it to the wall.
then again 3 screws costing 1 euro aint that much worse and are hardly noticable.
Hi Darren,
Nice looking bracket, had been trying to find something to do exactly this. Do you feel like selling me one? Happy to pay a decent price for it.
Cheers,
Nick
I attached mine to the wall with Velcro. Because the unit is so light, it works very well. There is even a ‘heavy duty’ velcro with stronger loops and stronger adhesive if you don’t trust the regular stuff.
costs just a few dollars and if you own a pair of sharp scissors, installs in about 2 minutes.
