Vera lite sluggish response time

Hi,

I’m a newbie and I have a simple scene where the foyer light is triggered by a z-wave kwikset door opening …it stays on for 3 minutes then goes off.

It works, but not all the time. Or sometimes, it may take several seconds before the light comes on. It’s as if the vera lite is asleep sometimes. It is hardwired to my houses ethernet and my internet connection is always on. Is there a polling problem with the vera? It’s not a big deal now, but soon (when the fibaro dimmers become available in the next 2 weeks here in the US) I plan on installing lots of the fibaro switches and building scenes for the house…I need the vera to be on and functioning. Suggestions?

The most common cause for such an issue is poor signal or route quality. If this is your problem, the solution is to add intermediate nodes.

Your plan to add Fibaro nodes will likely resolve your issue.
