Vera Lite Interfering with A/V Equipment

ahh haven’t set one from the tertiary to the primary, I’ll give that a shot. I had a look at the firmware update, unfortunately that’s only for the 515 and 609 (US) only. I’m in Australia. I’ve contacted the Australian distributor to find out if we can instigate the same firmware update for the 509.

There is already a route from the tertiary to the primary, the Default route. So, a static route form tertiary to primary is pointless. All non-local traffic on 192.168.2.0 will be routed from the tertiary to the primary LAN and perhaps beyond.

I have just installed VeraLite in my home network and have noticed the problems identified here. I have three “smart TV’s” and an Onkyo AV receiver on my home network and all are being disabled after a period of time when VeraLite is on the network. Removing VeraLite and powering everything off and back on appears to be the only way to re-establish the network. Vera indicates that I have the latest software installed. Is it possible that this problem has not been addressed by a firmware upgrade since the last posting on this topic (2012)???

I can follow most of the discussion on adding a second router and will resort to that if necessary. There was apparently another solution involving modifying the veralite firmware but I do not see how you can access the veralite OS shell to do that, and as a novice I am reluctant to turn my almost-working system into a brick.

Any updates or suggestion would be appreciated.

It turns out that there is a bug in Vera firmware. See this thread for a resolution. See post #31.
