Vera Lite connection issues after move

Basics are no access to Vera after setting up new network, worked great prior.

Last home I ran a wired network, never really had any issues. Not as smooth at the new home, coax only in a few rooms (not the right ones), so everything is running off wireless network for now. Running different router/switches than previous home, but have 12 items connected to the network, without much issue.

Been so long since I’ve had to tweak anything…think I downgraded to 1.5 after some issues, but might be on 1.6? I can ping the unit at 192.168.81.1 if i disconnect my wireless and plug straight into pc, but will not open anything in browser. Did a reset, but didn’t seem to change anything.

Last ditch I changed the home network to run on 192.168.81.x to see if i had any luck. However, as soon as i plug in the Vera, random items start losing their connection (laptop/Roku,etc).

I’ve already swapped out several switches/plugs and starting on the garage, but can’t do anything with them and feeling annoyed. Any help would be great.

Start with Vera plugged in to your router, even if this is not her final location.

Did you have Vera previously configured to use a static IP address? You may need to reset it or set Vera to use DHCP. If that’s the case you’ll need the direct PC connection to get it going.

After you get Vera working on the ethernet cable, then you can look to shifting to a WiFi setup.
