I run an apple time machine and apple express to cover all my house.
Before I hook up everything anyone see any reason I cannot hook vera up to port on apple express?
no reason it won’t work just plug vera into a LAN port and your good to go.
If you are connecting the Vera to the Airport Express by a wire, and the Airport Express is on your shared wireless network, there is a setting that you need to turn on on the Airport Express: “Allow Ethernet Clients”. It may have changed names in the most recent Airport configuration utility.
