Vera lite: Aeontec Smart Switch 6 won't turn on/off

I got an Aeontec Smart Switch 6 for Christmas. It paired just fine with my Vera Lite.

I can read the watt reading in vera just fine, and it looks correct.

However, when I toggle it on/off in vera it does nothing.

The switch turns on/off if I physically push the switch on/off physical button, and the watt reading in vera changes accordingly.

But nothing happens if I try to turn on/off in vera.

Any thoughts on how to start troubleshooting?

Well, some more searching led me to the answer… It doesn’t work well.

I can make it work by manually changing the capability variable (remove 38:2), but as others have noted the “38” gets added right back if someone manually turns the switch on/off via the physical button.

I also saw reference to some beta firmware for the SS6, but can’t find it anywhere. Anyone have that?

I got almost the same issue, my aeontec smart swith would work with the physical swithch, the button on itself, via z wave device, however it would not change staus if activated physicaly any workaround this ? is it defective?
