I just noticed that my thermostat was set to the nighttime temperature. I tried to get to the Vera dashboard and I found out that it’s IP address had changed. Then I noticed that it thought it was night. I verified that my location was set correctly. How did this happen? How to go about straightening this all out?
You didn’t mention the hour in the Dashboard when you noticed the IP address change.
Was (or is) the hour correct ? If not, is Vera still connected to internet ?

It’s correct now because I manually changed it. It seemed to be 12 hours off. But the date seemed to also be wrong. It thought it was 1999. It is connected to the internet.
If it shows 1999, then Vera has no connection to internet.
Without internet, Vera could not get its date, other than if it is entered manually.
Make sure that Vera is not only attached to your network, but also to internet.
One easy way to check is to use MIOS.com from outside your home (from Office ?) and try to connect to Vera.

Maybe the internet was down during the night while I was sleeping. I have no clue. It seems to be working now though.
