Vera Indicated as Not Found On Local Network

My Vera recently starting showing that it could not be found on the local network. This is written in a dark green box (“Vera not found on your home network”) when I go to findvera.com on my network. Vera is up and connected. Above the not found message I am given the IP for Vera. I can use this to login to Vera no probem. So the issue is only cosmetic.

I did upgrade to the new Luup firmware (version 1.0.790) around the time I noticed the not found message. Anyone know if this is the reason?

Thanks.

What brower are you using? Because this happens when I use IE 8. With Firefox 3 it works fine. Just like you if I type in the address that it says it comes right up. So now I just use Firefox when loging on locally.

This happens with Firefox 3.0.13 and IE 7.0.5730.

equis, did this issue ever get resolved to your satisfaction?

I was having an issue with it not showing if I hadn’t logged into it locally already in the browser session. It seemed that it wasn’t authenticated yet because I have local authentication turned on, that it wouldn’t show it. Not sure if it ever started working right or not with 899. I have Vera packed away sadly at the moment waiting for the move to the new home.

Same issue here with me all of a sudden. No new browser, only change is new dongle and network rebuild this weekend. Now I can only access intermittently on local access and Vera takes a really long time to load when I can access it.

Well I guess I should be happy, it actually ran for 1 whole day this time and all my scenes worked >:(

I’m having the same issue. I have cable run to a Linksys router and then out to vera. I know what IP address my router has given it and I can access the intro/setup page that way.

Are there any issues with linksys routers or configs I need to do with the IP or Port forwarding or anything like that?

Thanks,
Byron
