Vera Edge + Qubino Flush 1D Relay issue

Hi Guys.

Yesterday I received my veraEdge + 2x Qubino relays to test how it all works. I am very happy but have 1 issue though.

I chose generic device to pair the relay with the vera, but the problem is that it picks up the relay a 4 devices. First one is the correct one which I gave a name and also shows the energy consumption which is awesome. Second one is called “_Appliance Module”, and 3rd and 4th one is “_Generic IO”. The appliance module control the light as well but doesn’t show energy consumption, and the other 2 are just useless.

My question is, did I setup something incorrectly or is this a bug? How would I go about fixing the issue to only show the 1 correct device?

Thanks in advance.

The 2 generic devices will be so that you can attach more switches to the module on the i2 and i3 inputs and VERA will be able to activate scenes etc if they are activated. HOWEVER…currently the problem that I am experiencing with Vera is that when using the Qubino Plus devices Vera doesn’t seem to pick up when these inputs are activated anyway.

So the concept is correct but currently VERA isn’t setting up the device correctly yet.

On my other non-plus dimmers the 2 inputs are picked up as motion sensors so I have those dimmers activatating various scenes.

Hope that helps.

Nick

Any solution for this issue with several devices created for the Qubino Flush realy?
I have the same issue and have talked with the support at Qubino.
They say: change parameter 100 and parameter 101 to “0” and then remove the relay from the Vera without resetting it (by pressing the service button for 2-3 sek). Then include the relay again and the extra devices should be gone.

I have tried this, but it doesn’t seems to work…

Thanks for the reply guys.

I also have another issue. I have added another Qubino to the network, and now the second one doesn’t give energy consumption?

Does any one know when vera would actually be supporting them properly? I am actually at the point where I am considering changing controllers.

I got in touch with Qubino support about this. They checked and confirmed that the I2 endpoint does not show up on the VERA UI. At the end of June they said that they were working with mios to get VERA to support the qubino modules correctly but implied they had no control and it was now a mios problem!

I’ve been on Vera’s case about these, with a bit of help from the manufacturer of Qubino, for months. The bottom line is, they’ve not yet worked out how to support the additional inputs properly. In older firmware, they showed up as some sort of sensor but wouldn’t generate the events correctly to use in scenes etc. In the latest, which claims to “support” them, there is a huge caveat - they’ve simply hidden the extra inputs from the UI so the module becomes the simplest form of basic switch on the 1st channel and that’s it.

Wind up support about it; the more people pressure them, the more likely they’ll extractum digitum rectum and solve whatever problem Vera has with these modules!

having the same issue, logged a ticket for that. Reply I got from Vera:
“Please know that the issue you have with your Qubino inputs has been reported to our development team and they are working on a fix patch for it, but for the moment I don?t have a ETA.
The fix would appear listed in one of our next releases”

wish I’ve red this post before I bought the Qubino…
