Vera Edge doesnt recognize any device

Hello

I got my Vera Edge 3 days ago and walked through the wizard setup.

I tried for hours to add 2 devices to vera with no luck:

  1. Fibaro door sensor FGK-101
  2. zxt-120

I read in this great forum a lot before I bought my own vera and it seems to me this part is really easy.
This problem made me read the manuals a lot, reboot factory settings, Reset Z-Wave network, Reset Z-Wave chip, and google for hours but it still doesn’t work for me.

I don’t know what to do anymore , what am I missing?

Make sure that your Vera is within a meter of the device that you are trying to add.

Perform an exclude on the device before you try to include it.

If these two steps do not work, your Vera may be defective.

Edit: Make sure that your Vera is using the same frequency as your devices. If your Vera and devices were not sold for the same country, they may be on different frequencies. For example, if your Fibaro is a European frequency, then your Vera must also be a European frequency Vera.

I tried to add the devices near the Vera.

No device is detected or recognized in the first place, therefor I can’t see them in the vera to exclude them.

I bought them in the same place (vesternet), so they are all in Eu frequencies.

It doesn’t matter if the device doesn’t show up in Vera, it can still be excluded. Follow the procedure below and try to exclude the device.

If it doesn’t work, I’d try replacing Vera. You could also give Vera or Vesternet a call. Vesternet has great support.

Thanks for your answer again, I really appreciate the help.

When I try to add a device I get a massage “Add/Remove : Remove devices now…” on the top of the page, and it stays that way for like an hour after the 60 seconds end (I added a print screen).

If I click on “try it again”, the massage switches to “Add/Remove : Remove devices now…”, and it also stays for some time (added another print screen).

So I don’t see the “I’m trying to add but it’s not finding it” massage anywhere…

when i do reaper to Z-Wave Settings i get message “Heal Stage : ERROR: Z-Wave network heal failed”
