Is there a way of changing the trigger duration of the camera motion sensor in VERA?
I have tried going into Advanced and editing the “on time” variable but it reverts to 30 and makes no difference.
I have also tried changing the retrigger in BI but even when the camera box is still red in BI, the motion sensor in VERA goes grey after 30 seconds?
Can someone explain what am I doing wrong?
I am using the standard installation as on your first page.
I would ideally like the VERA motion sensor to keep red/triggered for as long as the motion continues in BI, even if this is several minutes.
Is this possible?
I have just updated to blue iris version 5, I am no longer getting a connection in Vera. Has anyone encountered this and resolved it? It was working fine prior to upgrade. I have ensured the user name and password are still setup in blue iris and I am still getting a camera feed in Imperihome (not through vera). Can anyone help?
I have a Vera Lite controller configured to receive video streams from a Blue Iris web server. The video streams are received as expected when viewing them from the desktop and mobile web interfaces as well as via the iOS app. However, when viewing a live video stream via the iOS app, an error message is presented indicating, “Failed to receive image from camera, please try again.“ Despite this error message, the video stream is displayed properly; hence, this is an erroneous error message that needs to be suppressed.
This issue has been consistently replicated on:
iPhone 8 and iPhone 6
iOS versions: 12.1.4 and 12.4.2, respectively
Vera App version: 3.26
Vera firmware: 1.7.1040
Blue Iris: 4.8.6.3 x64
Again, this only occurs in the iOS app and began occurring following the upgrade of the Vera iOS app to version 3.26. Prior to that the video stream worked as expected with no error message. There was no reconfiguration performed on either the Vera or Blue Iris installations prior to the onset of this error message.
I have contacted Vera support and after inspecting the issue remotely, they are convinced that the issue is a result of the Vera Blue Iris Unofficial Plugin.
