Vera as UPnP Proxy

Is it possible to add an existing UPnP device to Vera (in my case a Sonos Zone Player) and control it via the Vera HTTP request method (e.g. http://x.x.x.x:3480/data_request?id=lu_action&DeviceNum=45&serviceId=urn:upnp-org:serviceId:AVTransport&action=Play)? When I try to do this I get the following error:

ERROR: No Control URLs for Device

Part of the reason I purchased Vera was to use it as a proxy for UPnP devices with a simple HTTP interface. The paragraph on “UPNP aggregation & secure remote control” in the Luup press release claims that Vera will present existing UPnP devices over a secure gateway so I was assuming that the HTTP request interface would be available for them:

Thanks for the links…definitely helpful info. At this point, though, my issue isn’t really Sonos related. It really applies to any UPnP device that you add to Vera. I was hoping I would be able to control the device via Vera’s HTTP interface but based on the “No Control URLs” error, that does not seem to be the case…unless it’s just a configuration issue?

Are you able to control your UPnP devices via scenes?

Scene → ‘Advanced’ tab → ‘Pick a device’ → select an UPnP action

If this does work, you could run the scene via http:

… and are you sure that the urn is correct?
