Vera 3 working fine, battery pack inoperable

I bought the vera 3 unit about 3 weeks ago. Immediately I found that the battery pack accessory would not power the unit, the power light would blink green / red then stop. I have charged the pack and tested / retested, no dice. I contacted the seller to see if they would replace it, but I thought i would check the forum to see if this a common problem.

My battery is crap too. I usually just pull out a 100 foot cat 5 and extension cord and take Vera where I need her.

That is what i thought. I doing the same tethered version for including devices.
