I recently purchased three Vera Plus’ to replace V3/UI systems at various residences. I followed the recommended controller shift->backup->restore procedure and it worked for the most part. I had to force configure my battery operated devices, the restore procedure erroneously copied my USB serial port device (strange) from the V3 and I am having a problem with Futzle’s Holiday virtual switch (receiving 503 response from the server) but working with Futzle via PM to resolve…
For the most part, the upgrade is complete but I am having a huge issue with Intermatic scene controllers that have worked flawlessly on other systems. At first, I tried to assign scenes to the buttons via the new UI but it would not transfer the scenes to the controller. I noticed that the scenes had two triggers defined for the same button but when I tried to remove the duplicate entry, the V+ would crash. So I decided to put the V+ into exclude mode, remove/exclude the HA07 Intermatic Controller device, factory reset the HA07 controller, add it back into the V+, assign the buttons to scenes and then transfer the scenes.
The V+ crashes every time it tries to copy the scenes to the HA07 - this is a huge blocker for me because I use HA07 controllers at the other residences. Any ideas how to get around this issue?
