Vera 3 suddenly can't find 90% of my devices

No idea what happened here… very frustrating. About 2-3 days ago, all devices went “red” in the dashboard and showed various combos of “Unable to get any information on node” or “Failed at: Getting the manufacturer.”

I have rebooted Vera 3 several times, healed the network, tried polling individual nodes, etc. Really not sure what the problem is.

Any troubleshooting recommendations? At this point I am ready to just reset the whole thing to factory defaults but would rather not recreate all of my scenes, etc. from scratch. I doubt it’s related to the Vera 2 - Vera 3 upgrade as things were working fine for almost a month before this happened but who knows…

Also, the VistaCam is one of the few devices that actually IS working for some reason… still broadcasting images no problem. All of my leviton switches & dimmers and the motion sensor are lost, though.

okay well… sounds like i’m stuck just starting over from scratch.

sometimes vera makes me sad. i wish there were other alternatives out there - this is definitely not a system that “just works.”

What did support say when you contacted them?

@reidspice: Have you tried restoring a working back-up on your unit first ? Also be sure to check the “Restore Z-wave Network” option when you do it, so you can restore the z-wave network as well.

Try resetting the switches using the air gap.
It helped me once when this happened to me.
Must have been a switch that went crazy taking some others down also…
