All my GE lighting switches and plugs show a blue LED when off and the LED goes off when the device is on. How do I use Vera 3 to change the LED action to device on = LED on?
Not sure that this can be changed. The led turned on when the light is off is to help you located the switch in the dark.

Depending on whether you want to the LED behavior to be reversed or not then follow this post for a description:

Open the GE switch (wrench).
Go to “Device Options” tab and select “Add configuration settings”
and enter “3” for the variable, “1 byte dec” for data size, “1” for Desired Value then close and save.
I stand corrected. Glad to see that the led can be changed. (I do not own any GE switches).

For completeness, linking to how to change this programmatically.
Thank you very much sailhome; can this be applied system wide or only on a per switch bases?
As far as I know, you need to add the configuration setting to each switch you want to change.
It worked perfectly. Thanks again. Is there a list of configurable options?
The link oTi@ posted above lists the options for the led on GE switches and sockets.
Plus, the thread pointed at by @strangely has links to the GE/Jasco manuals (http://www.jascoproducts.com/z-wave/GE-Z-Wave-Support.asp).
It’s too bad the Vera interface does not take the option for each device it gets with the initial scan and offer a graphical way to choose what you want, instead of having to know all these codes and round-about hacks.
My guess is the configuration parameter space can be used and laid out any way the designer of the device sees fit. So this would require introducing a lot of device-specific knowledge into Vera (and maintaining it per version of a device, as things may change, as we have seen with the GE gear (unless it was just an omission in the manual)).
MCV seem to have done it for at least one device: for the HSM100, the parameters + descriptions are actually shown by Vera.
