Vera 2 with external Z-Wave dongle. How?

Hi all, I’m attempting to use the Vera 2 with an external Aeon labs Z-Wave dongle. Unfortunately it’s for a frequency that is neither US nor UK, as I want to use it with Australian Z-Wave.

Any idea on how I go about enabling this to happen?

Hi,

If you want to add another z-wave dongle on the unit, you just need to change the port for the z-wave in the Z-Wave device options.

If you plugged the dongle in the first USB port of Vera 2, you will need to change the Port to /dev/usb/tts/0 . This will disable the current z-wave module and enable the dongle.
