Vera 2 battery pack

Ive seen some different ways to be sure the vera2 battery pack is charging, but I’ve had mine ON and charging and OFF when charging and I have yet to see a green light on any of them. ANy ideas? MCV really needs some better info on all this and setting it up.

Im waiting to setup my Vera 2 and restart the network from scratch, but dont dare if the battery pack is DOA

saw that…no help at all. Why won’t mine ever turn green? I think I may have a dead battery pack. Ive been charging it for over a week here and there and see no indication other than red on it.

Same here. Never ever saw a green light on the battery pack or on the charger, but the pack seems to work OK.

I confirmed that in my case, no green light really did mean it was not charging. MCV replaced the battery and the charger, and the new one works fine.

Though I might mention that I’ve never actually needed the battery pack. I’ve never had an issue with simply adding devices through the mesh with the “full power” mode. I like knowing that I can move the vera around to devices if needed, but it has just never been an issue.
