I just found out (about 10 minutes ago) that there was an upgrade offered last year for vera 1 customers to purchase vera 2 for a discounted price. The link provided in the post is now dead and I would like to get out of my vera 1 and into a vera 2. Am I now in the boat of paying full pop for the new system? If that is the case, then I will make do with vera 1 until i have more than a handful of switches and a camera to control.
