This has been down since this weekend. I opened up a ticket and have not received any acknowledgement @mcvmirela, I’m just trying to login in to the smartphone site findvera.com/mobile
@not12bhere, I too am a proud owner of a vera1 non ui4 setup. I feel no need to upgrade right now.
I’ve pleaded many times to allow users to serve this page without having to go through findvera so I guess it won’t hurt for me to try again
I have been asking for years now. Years. They are going the opposite direction. A self authenticated certificate for Local HTTPS and a small server program that sends the SMS from the vera and it would be perfect. But sadly no. MCV has decided to make the VERA an MCV controlled trojan VPN termination device into a network. The irony is when they first started, they sincerely were interested in the security issues (check the security sub-forum which they might as well delete), but apparently didn’t like what the community said. RA1 is still down . . .
yah its funny, they always claim noone forces one to upgrade to the mandated tunneling system (and a MiOS account) in UI4, but if you dont, you have to suffer with these outages and empty responses to pleads we all have.

I reproduced the issue and escalated to our development team. I’ll announce you when this issue is fixed. Thank you.
Login in to the smartphone site findvera.com/mobile should work now.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. When servers were moved they didn’t take into consideration a certain config and this caused the CURL problem. As this configuration is modified now, I made my tests and could successfully connect to the mobile interface and also with Homebuddy. Can you please test and see if you can access your unit via smartphone? Please let us know if you encounter issues and I’ll forward this to our development team.
Thanks.
Yes, this worked. Thanks.l I never really thought how much I needed this until it was gone.
If micasa plans on retiring these servers, please let those of us with ui2 on vera1 know what our options are. I don’t have any immediate plans to change anything

Micasaverde doesn’t have any plan to shutdown the old findvera server, instead we want to move the old findvera/ra1/ra2 servers on a new more powerful server with built-in raid etc.
Right now I’ve just managed to migrate finvera and ra1, it will remain on next weeks to migrate ra2 as well.
We just won’t do any improvements on the software that those old servers are running.
