I have installed an ACT ZDF113 Relay Fixture Module to control the lamps in an LED Ceiling fixture. The module works well with my Vera 2 system using the 1.1.183 beta firmware. I would like use the ALL ON/ ALL OFF functionality of a Wayne Dalton HA-07WD Master Controller as well. The ZRF113 manual says that it support the ALL ON/ ALL OFF commands and to “Refer to your controller for information on how the set the ZRF113 to operate in the manner you desire.” I have followed the HA-07WD documentation for including a module in the ALL ON/ ALL OFF functionality of the controller, but have had no success. My personal opinion is that since the ZRF113 has four modes of ALL ON /OFF functionality, there should be a configuration parameter that tells the ZRF113 which mode to use when it sees the ALL ON / ALL OFF signal from a remote controller. However, that is not the case.
Has anyone had success using the ALL ON/ ALL OFF functionality of the HA-07WD controller with a ACT ZRF113 Relay Fixture Module? What did you do?
I made a mistake on the subject line for this post. It should be entitled Using the All-On Functionality of the HA-07WD controller and an ACT ZRF113 Relay
I was finally able to get my ACT ZRF113 to react to All-On and All-OFF signal from my Wayne Dalton HA-07WD remote controller. The solution was to repeat the Vera2 “Include a battery operated handheld remote and scene controller” procedure for the HA-07WD , even though the controller had previously been added as a secondary controller.
The full process was:
- Locate the Vera 2 and HA-07WD within 3 feet of each other.
Vera 2:
- Select the Add/Remove a device option on the Vera dashboard
- Select the Add One option in the “For battery operated handheld remotes and scene controllers” section
HA-07WD
- Immediately, Press the INCLUDE button on the HA-07WD. “Copy” will be shown in the LCD display. Release the INCLUDE button.
- Press and release the Channel 1 OFF/DIM button on the HA-07WD. “RA” which stands for "Receive ALL data will appear next to copy.
Wait until the Successful message appears in the upper right corner of the HA-07WD display. If the Unsuccessful message appears, repeat the process.
This procedure downloaded the current network and channel settings from my Vera 2 to the HA-07WD. Once that was done all my lighting devices reacted to the HA-07WD All-On and All-Off signals. No data on the HA-07WD or the Vera 2 was lost as a result of rerunning the Vera2 “Include a battery operated handheld remote” procedure.
