Hi There,
Am trying to get IP Webcam to stream video on a wall mounted tablet while at the same time using the Imperihome app with Imperihome API server active.
In order to access the IP Webcam stream I understand I need to use URL 192.1668.xxx.xxx:8080 (where xxx.xxx is LAN address of tablet) but when I do this I get only the Imperihome server.
Using the Imperihome API I’ve tried looking up potential Device ID for the IP Webcam app on the tablet but only my other IP cams are listed.
Any advice? Will it be impossible to run both the Imperihome server and the IP webcam server at the same time?
Thanks & Regards,
Larry
Not sure what your trying to do or what the IP webcam app is, but your problem could be if they are both on the same IP and port. You should change one of the servers ports to somthing different say 8081 instead of both being 8080.
This worked immediately… Thanks integlikewhoa!
The IP Webcam app lets me use any Android device as an IP webcam, so thanks to your help I can take snapshots inside the home on alarm…
Cheers,
Larry
Hi ,
I have also Imperihome and IP Webcam working in an Android tablet( with different port forthe integration of the Tablet webcam in Vera .
Taking snapshot from a Vera scene when there is an motion sensor alarm is working but I would like also to be able to disable the tablet motion when at home for example .
Is there an IPWebcam API document that can be useful ?
Thanks
