Are there considerations to using a camera indoors looking through a window to cover an entry/porch area? Will the camera be able to sense movement, or do they require thermal input?
No, motion will work. Maybe not 100%
You may get some false alarms because of reflections, trees moving and light changeing.
But ir wont work so make sure you can shut off ir manually.
