Use Z-Wave version 3.20 instead of 2.78

I saw this in the zwave-settings on my veralite. Can someone explain what this is and what the pros and cons are in doing the upgrade.

I’ve been wondering about the specific advantages of an upgrade too, but can’t find much information. However, I will say that if you’re working fine, don’t change anything. I recently had try upgrading to 3.2 because of some persistent routing problems. The upgrade went smoothly, and my problems haven’t returned, so it was a positive experience for me.

I hear you… but… at some point you kinda have to upgrade, or wonder if the behavior has been addressed in some later version of the firmware. (drinking the cool-aid comes to mind)

I guess I mentally made an agreement with MIOS that I would run the latest firmware, and they would do everything they could to make my system stable and reliable (stop laughing!). When I contact support for help, they’ve been MORE than helpful nailing down anything I point out. Remember, they might not be so helpful if you are running an old version of the firmware.
