I’m wondering now if this is even possible as it looks like the Aztec gen5 Multisensor sends an “open” and “close” command. Not on or off? I thought most devices would be able to turn stuff on or off?
Of course I’m able do do this by making a scene in Vera.
The Multisensor is an Aeon ZW074 trying to control a Qubino Flush Dimmer.
Update :
From sensor manual:
The MultiSensor can send Basic Set Command to association group 1, which is setup via the Association Command Class, when the Motion Sensor detects movement to control the associated devices to ?OPEN? state. After 4 minutes by default, if the Motion Sensor is not triggered again, the MultiSensor will send Basic Set Command to these devices to set them to their ?CLOSE? state.
It should work Aoen Labs isn’t know for the cleanest word choice in their manuals (your lucky they documented it at all), but associations on motion sensors are basically designed for what you are trying to do. Won’t hurt to set it up and give it a try.
I have tried for several times over a long period. Since I was new at z-wave I thought it was me but I begin to understand z-wave is rather incompatible and difficult.
If not that, try associating the motion sensor with another switch. The issue may be the qubino dimmer or it may be a problem with your setup or procedure.
This motion sensor does activate lights via association.

I have had it triggering a light by a Vera scene before. Just reset the PIR so I might have to revisit that parameter.
And then it’s the question about endpoint setting when setting up association in Vera. I just noticed there is 3 endpoints on the Qubino. 1 is obviously the main input and 2 and 3 is the aux inputs. Could it be as simple as putting a 1 in the endpoint box?
